1Salute The Dead

Unlike Halo 1, Halo 2 featured typical "boss battles"; opponents impossible to fight in the usual way. These were characters special to the plot, such as the Brute chieftain, Tartarus, or the Prophet Hierarch, Regret. Fan reaction was mixed.
